Common turning points.
After a hospital stay
What has to change before your partner comes home, ranked and priced.
More unsteady on their feet
Every step, rail and transfer point measured, from the front door to the bathroom.
A new diagnosis
Including a dedicated set of checks for Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
You’re doing more of the lifting
Helping someone in and out of the tub, up the stairs or out of bed is hard on the helper too.
Planned for the caregiver too.
The visit includes a short conversation about daily routine: who helps with what, and where it happens. The report then looks at the places where the two of you work together, like the tub, the toilet, the bed and the stairs, so the changes make the job easier for you as well as safer for your partner.
The report describes the home, not the person. It offers no medical opinion, and where an occupational therapist is involved, it is written to be handed straight to them.
Every fix priced, before anyone quotes.
Each fix in the report carries its own Calgary price, so you know what a fair quote looks like. The report also matches each fix to the funding that may apply, including SHARP, AADL and the federal home accessibility tax credits.

Nothing to sell you after the visit.
Free assessments are usually paid for by the renovation or equipment sold afterward. We sell no products or renovations and take no contractor fees, so every recommendation is about what makes the home safer, including what you can skip.
