What the visit is like.
About an hour and a half for a condo or apartment, and up to three hours for a larger house. Carl walks the home room by room with you, takes photographs and laser measurements, and asks a few questions about your daily routine. A family member is welcome but not needed.
Nothing heavy is moved and nothing is opened up. Photographs are used only for your report and are deleted after 24 months. The written report arrives within three business days.
One flat fee, and help paying for the fixes.
From $395 plus GST, paid once before the visit. The report matches each fix to the funding that may apply, including SHARP, AADL and the federal Home Accessibility Tax Credit.

Free assessments are usually paid for by the renovation or equipment sold afterward. We sell no products or renovations and take no contractor fees, so every recommendation is about what makes the home safer, including what you can skip.
